Born and raised in Vancouver, Tanisha Harris is a longtime children’s advocate who has spent ten years working in the Evergreen School District and as a CASA advocate in the foster care system. After working tirelessly to give Washington children the best resources available, Tanisha is now running to give working and middle-class families a champion in Olympia.
- Awarded the YWCA Val Joshua Racial Justice Award for her work in the community and an honorable mention for the 2019 Washington State University – Vancouver Women of Distinction
- Will fight for good, safe schools for kids, improvements to the state’s infrastructure, and an economy that works for all Washington families
