Dedicated public servant

Sharon Quirk-Silva

Sharon spent 31 years as a teacher in the Fullerton School District. A previous Mayor and City Council member of Fullerton, Sharon has dedicated her entire career to public service.

  • Sharon’s outstanding dedication to education earned her an endorsement from Gov. Jerry Brown, who said Sharon will “help make our schools better and keep college affordable.”
  • Sharon understands that improved infrastructure means shorter commute times and lower air pollution, which is why Sharon will continue to write bills that invest in improving transportation.
  • As a leader on economic growth, Sharon believes government needs to be an aid, not a burden, to small businesses, which is why she supported a tax cut to create jobs and help the economy thrive.
