Phil Miller

Phil Miller is a veterinarian, family man, and public education advocate with a strong record of service in his community. He grew up on a family farm and developed his love for animals as an active 4-H member. After winning a special election to claim the seat in 2017 and coming within 37 votes of being elected in 2018, Phil is fighting harder than ever to represent his community once again.

  • Campaigning for strong public schools, affordable and accessible health care, and an economy that works for Iowa’s small towns and rural communities
  • Served as president of the Fairfield Community School District Board of Directors and as a member of the Jefferson County Board of Health
  • Operates a local veterinary practice that many farms rely on to care for their pets and livestock
