Growing up in Joliet, Meg Loughran Cappel was inspired to lead a life of service by her grandfather, who served as a respected trial attorney and local advocate. For the last twelve years, Meg has worked as a special education teacher, fostering inclusive environments and providing a space for her students to learn and thrive. Meg has demonstrated her leadership, passion, and advocacy throughout her career – and in Springfield she will continue to use her voice to advocate for her community.
