Transformative Vision

Lauren Arthur

After flipping a ruby-red seat blue in 2018, Lauren Arthur made history as the youngest woman to ever serve in the Missouri Senate. As a former teacher, she has fought courageously to bolster the Missouri public school system and improve access to affordable health care. Lauren is a strong, independent voice who is committed to putting people before politics in Jefferson City.

  • Former middle school teacher who is working to invest in early childhood education, universal pre-K, and recruiting and retaining high-quality educators
  • Has filed legislation to bring greater transparency to elections, protect survivors of domestic abuse and assault, and make the Missouri Department of Revenue accountable to taxpayers
  • Rallying support to expand Medicaid statewide and give health care coverage to more than 300,000 lower-income Missourians

As the political cycle progresses, the page will be constantly updated to highlight critical new races across the nation, and bring national attention to the strong, progressive candidates who are on the frontlines of the fight. See our past victories.
