Ken Cooley

Ken was elected to the California State Assembly in November of 2012 after serving 10 years as a founding Councilman of Rancho Cordova and two terms as Mayor. He has served his community by leading efforts to expand health care, create jobs, and keep families safe.

  • Ken has defended health care time and again, including helping expand a local medical rehabilitation center and supporting bills to regulate medical marijuana.
  • As Chair of the Select Committee on Foster Care, Ken has focused on the needs of children in the foster care system and their caregivers.
