Fixing What’s Broken

Kelcey Brackett

Iowa native Kelcey Brackett worked his way from the receptionist at a technology company to eventually starting his own IT company. As a member of the business community and an active community volunteer, Kelcey has a deep understanding of what is important to Iowans. His work ethic led him to become a city councilmember, and now Kelcey is running to improve the lives of all Iowans, not just those at the top.

  • Currently serving on the Muscatine City Council, ensuring local government addresses constituents’ issues
  • Started his own IT company that worked collaboratively with small businesses to meet their needs
  • Supports establishing a program to encourage residents to buy local and support home-grown businesses
