Julia Hnilicka is an Alaskan through and through. For more than a decade, Julia ran a family-owned barge service to provide goods to rural communities, helping her understand and appreciate the fortitude of rural Alaskans and the challenges they face. Julia will fight to protect Alaskans’ ways of life and work to make the state a safer and more prosperous place for all residents.
- Earned a Master’s degree in rural development from the University Alaska, becoming the first in her family to receive a postgraduate degree
