John Liu has called New York his home since he immigrated from Taiwan at age five. A former member of the New York City Council and Comptroller of the City of New York, John has made government transparency a priority, creating an online resource allowing residents to see where and how tax dollars are spent. He is now working to bring that same transparency to Albany as New York’s first Asian-American state Senator.
