Joaquin Arambula

Joaquin aspired toward a career of hard work and public service in order to make the Central Valley a better place to live, work and raise a family. As an emergency room physician in Sacramento, he is working tirelessly to create local jobs, support public education and ensure quality health care.

  • Joaquin believes that access to care is a right, and he’s dedicated to upholding and expanding health care for all Californians.
  • The grandson of immigrant farmworkers, Joaquin supported a resolution to Trump’s decision to eliminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and call on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
  • Joaquin introduced legislation that granted Fresno County the authority to develop and implement an individualized county child care plan.
