A fourth-generation Oregonian raised in a union and military family, Jason Kropf’s upbringing has shaped his lifelong commitment to caring for others. From beginning his career as a public defender to his work now as a Deputy DA, public school volunteer, and local leader, Jason has rolled up his sleeves at every opportunity to serve his community. Jason will give Bend families the progressive representation they deserve in the state legislature.
- A proud graduate of Oregon’s public schools; running against a GOP legislator who voted against funding for education
- Consistently gives back to his community – currently serves children in crisis on the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Oregon board, and working to protect natural spaces on the Bend Park and Recreation board
- Priorities include combating climate change, fully investing in public schools, and offering affordable, accessible health care for all Oregonians
