Heather Edelson was the first in her family to graduate college before becoming a mental health therapist and assisting Twin Cities-area families as a Guardian ad Litem. She’s a community leader and coalition builder who is ready to bring her experience to the Minnesota House in November.
- Advocate for affordable health care – including a stronger MinnesotaCare– who has intimate personal experience with Minnesota’s health care system, as the mother of twins who were born prematurely
- Has helped to raise funding for STEM programs in the Twin Cities area, and will continue to champion public education in the state legislature
- Deeply involved in the Edina, MN community through local education boards and volunteer work
