Debra Rodman

Debra Rodman is a professor of anthropology and has served as a key expert witness in federal court cases advocating for families and LGBT refugees fleeing violence. First elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017, Debra worked with her colleagues to expand Medicaid across her home state, giving 400,000 Virginians access to health care. She’s now running for Virginia State Senate to continue advocating for her community.
