Cindy Polo

Cindy Polo’s work to better her community didn’t start when she flipped a state House seat from red to blue in 2018 – she’s been on the front lines her entire life, advocating for issues that improve the lives of Floridians. Cindy ran for office after the horrific Parkland shooting and is leading her people-powered movement again in 2020 to ensure her community isn’t ignored by those in power.

  • Daughter of Colombian immigrants and a bilingual “girl from Hialeah” who wants every kid to have the same opportunities she did
  • Worked as a former communications director for the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority and with the Miami Heat
  • Fought GOP leadership to try to expand Medicaid, pass commonsense gun safety legislation, and protect immigrants’ rights

As the political cycle progresses, the page will be constantly updated to highlight critical new races across the nation, and bring national attention to the strong, progressive candidates who are on the frontlines of the fight. See our past victories.
